Contour, in the b2b vocabulary

Contour is the craft of fitting a broad working surface to the curves of a real body, and it is the reason body-to-body suits every build.

Hands adapt without being asked. A forearm does not. A torso certainly does not. Contour is the name for the skill that makes a large, fairly straight surface sit well on a body that is anything but straight.

Why a buyer should care

Because it answers a question people rarely type out: will this work for my build? Tall, broad, heavy, slight, locked up after a long-haul seat. The worry arrives in many forms. Contour is the reply to all of them. The technique was never designed around one kind of body. It rests on attention to whichever body is actually on the bed, and attention is a matter of experience, not of shape.

The awkward geography

Every back has the same handful of hard places. The dip above the hips. The ridge of the spine. The two raised plates of the shoulder blades. The narrow run of the neck. A practised therapist knows that map before she arrives, and she corrects for it with tilt and shifting weight. A good correction goes unnoticed. A missing one does not.

What you can contribute

Not much, and that is fine. Tell the thread whatever your body carries with it: an old shoulder injury, a knee that complains, a lower back still angry about the flight. One line does it, and it travels with the booking. Beyond that, a firm mattress helps more than a sagging one, and a room warm enough that nobody tightens against the cold helps more than either.

What it costs

Nothing on top. Skill is folded into the hour, and the hour is EUR 180 on the prices page, whatever your frame looks like.

The surface that contour shapes is defined under full contact. Readying the room is covered in the guide to preparing for B2B massage.
